Privacy policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
We collect as little data as possible and never sell it. This page explains what we collect, why and for how long, in line with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, for visitors in the European Union, the GDPR.
Controller
Light Unlimited, Fribourg, Switzerland, address: to be completed. For any question about your data: contact@lightunlimited.ch.
Contact form
When you write to us, we store your name or gamertag, your email address and your message, only to reply to you. We also store an encrypted, non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address, used only to limit the number of messages and block abuse.
This data is stored in Switzerland (Zurich) and automatically deleted no later than 12 months after it was sent. A copy of the message is delivered to our mailbox by our email provider Resend (United States).
To protect the form against bots, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare Inc., United States), which analyses technical data from your browser when you send a message.
Visiting the site
Our host Vercel records technical data (IP address, requested page, date, browser) to run and protect the site. These logs are kept for a short time.
We measure traffic with a cookie-free analytics tool that cannot identify you or follow you across sites.
Unlimited League
Registration is done through a Google Forms form (Google, see its own privacy policy). Team names and player gamertags are published on the site (teams, standings, Light Points). Activision IDs are used to organise matches and are never published; only administrators can see them.
Transfers abroad
Some providers (Vercel, Resend, Cloudflare) are located in the United States. Transfers rely on the safeguards provided by law (Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@lightunlimited.ch. You can also contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the European Union, your national authority.
