About Light Unlimited
Founded in Lyon in 2024, Light Unlimited is an esports organization registered as a non-profit association under the French law of 1901, committed to growing the French scene. Made up of players and content creators, it has become a recognized name on the national amateur Call of Duty scene. Its mission: to structure and energize French esports by showcasing local talent. In 2026, Light Unlimited takes a new step with the creation of its Swiss branch in Fribourg. The project is led by Nathan “Pickaxe” and Réhane “Lexa”.
Looking ahead to 2027
For 2027, Light Unlimited is thinking bigger. It aims to strengthen its presence on the French competitive scene, open up further to Europe and build a network of public and private partners to fund its events and support its team of players at major competitions. The flagship project of the year is the Unlimited League, an online Call of Duty competition followed by an in-person event in France or Switzerland. Registration, schedule, overall standings and official rules: everything is designed to give players a serious, fair and professional esports experience, without losing the community spirit at the heart of esports. Most matches will be streamed and commentated by official casters on the L8Unlimited Twitch channel. The stated goal: to make Light Unlimited the leading esports organization in Europe by 2028.
